![]() Germany has a grand tradition of pop stars, many of which are considered "Schlager" (hit-makers). Typically these are the singers who croon more traditional folky pop, but a Schlager can be anyone who sings a song that worms its way into the national ear. Schlagerman presents a mash-up of beloved German tunes from pop history, told and sung by JJ Jones, accompanied by Josef der Erste, in a delightful mix of English and German. Songs include: 99 Luftballoons Where Have All the Flowers Gone? Mack the Knife Du Hasst Rock Me Amadeus The Model The performance is perfect for high school and university students, as well as German-American gatherings of any kind.
